REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from spacecdt.com.
Space Cadet is an Australian business and operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
We accept change-of-mind return requests within 30 days of the customer receiving their order.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Unused
- In original condition
- With tags attached, where applicable
- In original packaging, where possible
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
To start a return, email spacecadet.returns@outlook.com with your full name, order number, email used at checkout, item you want to return, and reason for return.
Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.
RETURN SHIPPING
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless we agree otherwise.
We recommend using tracked shipping, as Space Cadet is not responsible for return parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.
If an item is returned worn, washed, used, damaged, altered, missing tags, or not in original condition, we may refuse the return or deduct a reasonable amount for loss in value where permitted by law.
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, missing, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at spacecadet.returns@outlook.com.
Please include your full name, order number, email used at checkout, a clear description of the issue, and photos or videos showing the problem.
If an item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, unsafe, or does not match its description, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where required by law, this may include Space Cadet covering reasonable return shipping costs.
SALE ITEMS AND GIFT CARDS
Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned for change of mind.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, unsafe, or not as described.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
For change-of-mind returns, we do not accept returns for:
- Items that have been worn, washed, used, damaged, or altered
- Items returned outside the 30-day change-of-mind return period
- Items without proof of purchase
- Items missing original tags, where applicable
- Gift cards
- Custom, personalised, or special-order items, unless faulty or not as described
- Sale items, unless faulty or not as described
EXCHANGES
Exchanges may be available depending on stock availability.
For change-of-mind exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any shipping costs to send the replacement item, unless we agree otherwise.
For faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed items, we will assess the issue and provide a remedy where required by law.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Space Cadet currently ships within Australia and to selected international locations available at checkout, including New Zealand, the United States, and Canada.
International customers may return eligible items under this policy.
For international change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs charges, duties, taxes, and any other return costs.
Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, clearance fees, and other local charges may not be refundable by Space Cadet unless they were directly collected by us at checkout and are refundable under the relevant process.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method where possible.
Banks, card providers, and payment providers may take additional time to process refunds.
Shipping fees are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns unless we agree otherwise.
For Australian orders, any GST included in the refunded item price will be refunded where applicable.

INCORRECT ADDRESS OR FAILED DELIVERY
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal to accept delivery, failure to collect the parcel, or unpaid customs/import charges, we may deduct shipping, return shipping, customs, or handling costs from any refund where permitted by law.
